So Anne really has gone then? If she has it doesn't seem much of a surprise tbh...she has been on it only on an ad-hoc basis from what I've seen of it this year.

Well I hope the new look Reporting Scotland looks better when it moves over.
The move for Newsnight Scotland to Pacific Quay is the end of an era in more ways than is being billed. I will not be a fan of the programme as much as I have been since October 1999

The majority of the last set changes were just different coloured lighting gells. Some parts may be reused...
I thought the panels were lit with Pulsar LED colour changing battens.
Gel is a bit old hat now for colour washes, innit?

So, what s going to happen to the set that was introduced not that long ago? Bit of a waste, wasn't it?

I am led tp believe that she has left Newsnight Scotland. I am unsure if she has left BBC Scotland altogether though?

Another BBC Scotland presenter whom I haven't seen for ages, is Fiona Henderson. But I will add a caveat, in the fact that I very rarely see Breakfast news these days, but when i do tune in, it seems to be Rob Matheson as the main player first thing....anyone know what happened to her then?

Well it is good to know that the BBC give out precise details of their presenters fees. At least she does not run dodgey phone ins!!
I also suppose they pay the other presenters peanuts
I only hope that folk realise that the BBC must have agreed to pay Anne whatever amount she got in the first place.
Let's face it - you would need to pay me something decent to work in Glasgow and I live in Aberdeenshire. I think it is a shame for her to endure this, as travel expenses etc occur in many industries.
Glen seems a good presenter; however, I fear this is the last we will see of the Duchess. I doubt she'll want to work for the BBC again after today and I doubt she'll go back to Grampian (stv north).

It said in the paper today that she had been dropped in favour of Glen Campbell .The BBC commented that it was not the case. The decision was value for money meaning that Glen is the cheaper option compared to her £50.000 a yr freelance salary .

I would love to see her again Lewis c - but BBC Scotland have crapped all over her today with their quotes in the Daily Record.
I think we may 'hear' her again. She seems more respected at network level than at BBC Scotland. She moved away in 1998 for a reason and I do not think that reason has changed. She has had 26 years on the telly and that is longer than many. At the most, she'll get some gig with radio.
For some reason the bosses at QMD do not seem to be bothered and quite happy to report on journalist contractual issues.
Let's just hope that Glen and co are safe when they are an 'ancient' 47!!

Hmm so any ideas on what the new titles will be like? I quite like the style of the new The World Today titles. Something similar would be nice on RS.
