Indeed, I'm not defending him on that part. However "Anne MacKenzie Fan" was having a go at him for explaing his confusion regarding the date. Though (and I'm probably looking into it too much here) may he not have been asking; on what date was the date 6th August originally stated as being the date the change would happen?
Needless to say it's all rather confusing for him and us.

Usually a calendar or diary or even a computer is a good place to check when a date is! I should say that usually Reporting Scotland is on at around 13.30, 18.30 and 10.25 every weekday and there are numeous bulletins during the morning and afternoon. Reporting Scotland is found on BBC One Scotland - usually channel 1 (in Scotland) and 971 (Sky) not sure what one it is on for Virgin though - sorry!
