Lets Sort this out!!!

I got the Date BUT my first compant was to do with - Media Boy wrote "" read the thread - honestly"""

SO that is the first place where I got told off So I ask where is the original post, IF this is the original post of the date then Media Boy complained at me for NO REASON!

I;m Sorry for the mix up, but I stand by original POINT!

I agree, when you first asked for a date, no date had been mentioned, just "early August". The reply you got from Media boy to this confirmed the date for the first time (unless I'm missing something) and you therefore got the unnecessary reaction of "read the thread".

However, you then proceed to ask the date several more times, which is why everyone is getting a little annoyed.

This is pointless. It has been stated very clearly - August 6th.
If you have any information to contradict this - then please share it with us or refrain from more daft messages!!
Thanks

He's not complaining he doesn't know the date, he's complaining he was shouted at for no reason for not knowing the date, which WAS NOT stated before he asked the question.

this I can understand, however after he was TOLD the date he then asked again and again and then quoted the post that said "6th of august" and claimed it said "early august".

Indeed, I'm not defending him on that part. However "Anne MacKenzie Fan" was having a go at him for explaing his confusion regarding the date. Though (and I'm probably looking into it too much here) may he not have been asking; on what date was the date 6th August originally stated as being the date the change would happen?

Needless to say it's all rather confusing for him and us.

I wonder when they will inject some new, fresh blood into Reporting Scotland, and move Jackie Bird aside.

Woah! Everyone calm now eh? Confused

Hey James! How's things mate? I agree. It is about time that new blood was introduced to Reporting Scotland. Any potential candidates spring to mind? Confused

The reason I did that was to PROVE that was the first time it appeared on here: thus Proving that my getting complained at FIRST time was wrong:

so can we now drop this as I have prove this, alsi SORRY for confusing you lot in trying to prove this....

I doubt there get new blood... Jackie bird got another few years to go"!

Yes. A few candidates spring to mind. Some of them have been involved in news programmes before:

1) Brenda Paterson
2) Shereen Nanjiani
3) Andrea Brymer
4) Stephen Jardine
5) Anne MacKenzie

I think any of the above would work well in bringing their extensive experience into RS.

Shereen Nanjiani, probably wont come back to TV

4) Stephen Jardine, I think he more loyal to STV!

I noticed that Jane Lewis did a report on Reporting Scotlands sports desk through the week. Has she now joined the BBC? I hope so!
