You said it 623058! Jackie was really acting like the leader on last night's RS for sure, much to David's disappointment (even though he didn't look it)
This is really beginning to annoy me now - Jackie once again portraying RS as being "Scotland's Most Watched News Programme" on last nights show. I wonder what the viewing figures show? It's a pity they aren't available publicly, so that we could see whether this was true or not.
I've just looked at Friday's BARB figures and STV (north and central) beat Reporting Scotland by a long shot. They're clearly looking at 'year on year' or 'month on month' figures. Day to day it swings between both services, but I think Reporting Scotland are running the risk of getting into some serious bother by claiming to be 'Scotland's most watched' as they clearly aren't always.
Hey there, any more news on when Reporting Scotland will move to Pacific Quay. Will it be June or July?
Its pencilled in as early August at the moment. That could slip - as RS will be going live from PQ with a totally new automation system, graphics devices and editing system - I can see some serious training and system issues that will need to be sorted before they decide that they will jump. Its all VERY different from they way the staff work at the moment... but no doubt it's all in hand. It is very impressive building inside...

Thanks for that...it all sounds edge of the seat stuff.

Although we have to go at some point soon... the bulldozers are waiting...
So will anyone shed some light on what we can expect from the new look Reporting Scotland? I understand not much can be given away but surely we can get some info at this stage? I'm particularly curious about what the new titles will be like.

How different will it really be from what it is already - given it will have to conform to the national look to some extent, I would think.
I imagine they could well get something rather like the current Wales Today titles (i.e. VERY like the BBC One "Nationals", except for the "globe" having just Scotland on it. And possibly a white background as opposed to black (again, like Wales Today), but not necessarily)
