I've always thought it would be interesting to see Matt Frei present a bulletin, but then his outstanding skills as a reporter would be wasted I suppose.

Hello Buerkmania,

Matt Frei has been presenting the news on BBC World this week. He has been the on duty anchor from the Washington Bureau, co-presenting alongside Mike Embley in London.

You were correct in your assumption above - Matt was very good, although caught off guard a couple of times between shots, and hastily removing his reading glasses prior to delivery.

All in all, very good to watch his newscasting skills.

I never realised that Matt Frei was German. His full name is Matthias Frei. Obviously the surname was foreign, but I just thought that Matt was British.
