Exactly. He's also the only newsreader I know who waves at the end of a bulletin and seems at ease on *that* sofa. To his credit he can be excellent although granted the umm's can sometimes creep in.

I know he has been a presenter in the past (Day By Day Southern , Coast To Coast TVS ), but I'd love to see Central (South)'s Christopher Peacock present once again. He still has that confident authority in his voice that would make him a fab presenter in my opinion. Very Happy

I've always thought it would be interesting to see Matt Frei present a bulletin, but then his outstanding skills as a reporter would be wasted I suppose.
