BBC News Channel was having issues with cameras right after News At Six. The camera went nuts and didn’t stop so it ended up showing another camera, lol.

If it’s just a monitor or chroma key backdrop why not use a live backdrop? Do they normally use a live backdrop of a different locations - if they do it the change could possibly be because there were issues with the camera or weather made it look bad.

I think that backdrop's been used for a few months
It could well be that it's not new and they're making the most of a previously underused backdrop before the move
