Pretty much everything in that video that is actually BBC News branded makes me want to throw my screen out of the window at how slow and ploddy they are.

Also, despite only being uploaded in January 2019, there are quite a few that are already out of date - which shows just how many rebrands/refreshes we've had in recent months.

Crazy, isn't it? Almost like they refreshed the brand or something half way through the year!

Sorry I should have communicated what I meant better. In terms of intros (I appreciate network/regional bulletins and NC got completely new L3s etc), I meant refreshes that were more than a change of typeface, such as Newsround, Victoria Derbyshire and Newsnight.

News Channel having problems with its Breaking News graphics right now where the ‘BBC News’ bug won’t stay in the correct position.

They’ve had to remove all the graphics and presumably reboot. However it’s proved to be unsuccessful when getting the graphics back.

It seems to be an issue that putting the Breaking News graphics up before the clock causes the bug to go back to its usual position.

By the way, "The News Channel" is exactly how CNN branded itself on the air in its early years:

The Real McCoy got a bit chilly earlier it would seem!

Technical issues on the 10 tonight? They seemed to have skipped the whole headline intro and titles and gone straight to the first story and a report from Laura K. Also Huw seemed to be having sound problems in Westminster.

Some sort of technical problem with the news at ten, no headline sequence at all, they just launched into the main headline and report, or is that intended? Also, graphics broke as a result on the news channel, the live bug stayed up while Laura’s report started and then all graphics were removed.

Edit : they’re still missing after the report, also rolling news posted simultaneously with me haha

Edit2 : huw seems to be looking to his paper notes more than he usually does, autocue sticking perhaps?

Something must be amiss tonight...

The Ten cut straight from ident to Huw at Westminster, who pretty much went straight into the first story and into LK's report. No headline sequence, no local opt, no titles.

The LIVE bug remained on screen for the first portion of the report. Now it seems there are no GFX at all.

The countdown into the ten had the old BBC NEWS logo and err... no countdown. When Huw appeared the flipper was already on screen.

With no headline sequence they must be running about 5 minutes early now!
