I watched Afternoon Live on Friday and it was similarly not broadcast then. I wonder if they have dropped it silently. tbh though, i wouldn’t be fussed with it gone, 95% of it was just the same 3-4 regions/presenters and thus no variety was really shown to the viewer, i think out of all the broadcasts, the reporting scotland studio was shown once, which is frankly ridiculous given the numerous stories they have reported on that people might be interested in

It was on yesterday.
Ittr and SuperSajuuk gave kudos

It was on yesterday.

Yes, and it is frequently dropped whenever rolling news takes priority, as you would expect.

I think Huw was throwing shade on tonight’s late time for the Ten there, obviously thinking it’s a slippery slope

Didn't help having an Outside Source promo for 'tonight' when it's already broadcast.

A few problems with the on screen graphics and lower thirds at the end of the 1pm hour.

During the business news the gallery were clearly having problems removing the live/locator graphic which resulted in them sliding off and on screen for a good couple of minutes. The ticker and astons then got confused with each other with one bumping the other off screen and the clock freezing to boot.

Really interesting news report which I've found on Youtube about the relaunch of BBC News in 1998 taking around 2 years to implement.

Starts 36 seconds in:

Tony Hall's comments were very pertinent. It was like he was Mystic Meg looking into the future.

Something odd happened at the start of Brexitcast at 9:30pm last night too.

The white ticker bar appeared and the orange BREXITCAST programme slug but nothing else - no clock, BBC News red box or black bar... Fixed after a few minutes

TOTH into Breakfast this morning using the old Countdown sequence with Gill Sans boxed logo and Helvetica font on the clock.

Why are all those old files not deleted at the time of a rebrand to make it impossible for them to be used in the future? Reporting Scotland at breakfast is still using the Gill Sans template for traffic and travel.

Did they just use the Afternoon Live headline bed just now in the midway junction on the Six?
