BBC News (UK) presentation - Reith launch onwards

I wonder if this is something to do with the fact that during Victoria Derbyshire, the contact details for the show are now being shown on the ticker, rather than the generic ones for the News Channel, during the INTERACTIVE flip. We also have Sport appearing, even though it seems to be one story at present.

No interactive/contact us on the flipper at the moment during the Newsroom Live simulcast on BBC Two.

Just seen what happens when one of the :15 headline straps is too long. The text is completely chopped off at the clock and doesn't stretch to fit.

Thank god for that. If it stretched (shrunk) to fit they'd keep doing it more and more. The text size should stay the same and those inputting it should stick to the max length.

Love to know how Studio E which doesn't even use blue business graphics appeared on the screen behind Geeta on the NC just now.

Why can’t they use blue for business like BBC World News?

Blue is only used for business programmes rather than business segments during other programmes so is only relevant for business live on the NC.

All studios can access all show graphics and are set-up to, just in case something goes wrong in the normal studio and the programme has to move to another studio! However, it’s a common trend getting the wrong graphics appearing in that coming up tease - It had Global from BBC World News appearing a few weeks back.

All on-screen graphics froze towards the end of the Ryanair report on News at Five, then they were all removed (including ticker, even though it was still working) after a throw to a VT. no live bug either, and still not restored after that report has concluded.

Sportsday wasn’t ready for the News at Ten opt-out so the filler was played for a few minutes.
