Jibs don’t seem to be used on the BBC World program in studio B. And the robotics could be controlled in Mosart like the Furios with manual intervention as needed.
It's one thing to have robotic cameras on tracks controlled by automation, it's another to have robotic pedestals controlled by automation. A certain satellite broadcaster tried it and had to bring back operators due to safety concerns and the fact that the cameras really weren't reliable enough to accurately go to stored positions.
Just a suggestion. Speaking with a few people at stations that use CamBots they say they’re very reliable, have had no issues and work friendly with automation enough so they don’t need an operator.
B already has Shotoku heads. Could get some SmartPeds I guess, but you'd still need a jib operator and someone doing the robotic peds.
