I was only half-watching, but did hear the News Channel presenter trailing the Ten with Clive Myrie at around 9.30 (before the extended Harry Maguire interview). Not sure what the EPG would have said at that point, but it definitely said WNA just after 10.

Yeah, Nancy definitely said something like Clive will be on at 22:00

The presenter at 9:30 after the headlines on every Friday Saturday and Sunday from however long I can remember after WNT always mentioned the 10pm news and presenter coming up before a pre-recorded program. It’s probably a copied and pasted script that is just re-used and the presenters name Is all that changes. This was even read out on weekends mentioning the NC presenter instead is coming up at 10pm if the weekend news was scheduled past 10pm

I was always under the impression that the 9.30 headlines were on the BBC News Channel only, whilst BBC World had WNT at 9.00-9.25 (or thereabouts) before an ad break. I imagine - I've never seen BBC World at this point - it left the simulcasting and then had its own programming from 9.30-10.00. The presenter of WNT would appear on the News Channel only for the half hour headlines and usually announce the presenter for 10pm. I suspected this because the News at Ten wouldn't be on BBC World would it? Has what I have imagined not been the case?
World News cuts away just before the presenter continues on the News Channel with a mention of the 22:00 news and an introduction to whatever programme is on at 21:30.
It’s very slick as opposed to the pauses at other junctions.
It’s similar to what happens on the overnights when they both have headlines at the half hour.
Apologies if I’ve missed something, but has Studio B been closed for good? Wikipedia says it has been ‘mothballed’, meaning it could come back? Could somebody explain? Thanks!

No it wont have been closed. It technically has been mothballed though, meaning it has closed for now but is available and ready to be ready to broadcast in short notice. It will be back.

Any idea what short notice means? Would this be for a planned event like an election or more urgent need e.g. a studio failure?
Also does A get used at all now? I guess Newswatch might be the telling one for that - though no reason D couldn't be used instead.
