Can't see why not. We've had it on in the office in the background, and it fits well. I think most casual viewers would just think it was Victoria Derbyshire and it had switched channels.

I agree, the news at 9am has done well but I suspect whatever airs in that slot will probably do similar figures anyway because it's getting a healthy lead in from Breakfast.

Did anyone else notice the different name captions on the story about plastic on beaches this morning at around 11:50 they were a bit like the headlines with the red line at the side but it was thicker. But it was back to normal in the next story.
