^ What's the whitish screen structure just to the right of the BBC News flatscreen in the picture above?

A pillar.

I think it's the opposite side of one of the white pillars in the BBC newsroom:

Are you sure it’s a pillar? It’s semi transparent (can see the bank of tv screens through it).

I guess I can see a slender circular pillar to the right of the spiral staircase in the background. But I’m referring to the flatter/semi transparent object which looks like a drop-down projector screen of sorts. (Except it’s semi transparent).

Unless the “transparency” is actually a reflection of the floor manager screens from inside the studio.

I am pretty sure they’re reflections and it is the pillar.

You can see reflections on the glass. The "structure" is the pillar, you can see the vertical line which is the seam in the concrete.

Six was exactly 30 minutes today compared to the usual 33 at the moment. Nations and Regions opt at exactly 18:30. Something satisfying about it.

When was the last time that The One Show began before 1900?

The One Show is off air at 1925 today so I guess starting at the post 1900 time would be almost pointless.

Brilliant timing - BBC News at Ten doing an ITV tonight and starting 2 minutes late and the NC still incredibly manages to time a 74 second countdown to lead into it.

Last night’s Ten was also delayed by 2 mins due to Staged… Rolling Eyes

The BBC News at Ten has been very tardy lately rather than being guaranteed a bang on 10:00 start like normal

BBC News at When. Maybe I should send in an email to complain.
