Either there's an error in the database or schedule has changed World News Today is now filling the OS slots on Weekends. Though that makes sense as in press release in 2015 it should, I'm not holding my breath... Though could be a case of auto-scheduling, with Politics Live returning could it be a step towards returning to a semi-normal. As it normally runs 7 days a week at Christmas

It’s always filled the 9-10 slot Friday-Sunday.
Yes, but since March has been a standard edition of BBC World News, due to Coronavirus
And with the changing of the wording to the intro's last weekend, it does make you wonder whether The News Channel and World are about to go their separate ways at weekends again sooner rather than later.

There was no headline sequence at the start of the early evening news just now, which was normal on a Saturday before Covid, so that's further easing?
I would say so as there had been a headline sequence on some Saturday's (and running for 15 minutes as well which doesn't normally happen on a Saturday.)
Today's historic SpaceX launch from Kennedy Space Centre just now, largely obscured by the BBC News Aston and ticker especially as the rocket propels into space.
Space X launch. Well done BBC News for obscuring much of the rocket plume, and at one point the entire rocket! with your 'lower third' extranious crap, and why did you feel the need to delay the launch footage by 30 seconds? Meanwhile on the direct streamed feed, proper informative commentry and nothing obscured.
Remind me never to bother with the BBC for any future coverage. Patrick Moore will be turning in his grave

I would assume the launch footage is delayed incase of any unfortunate circumstances during the launch of the spaceship 🚀

That takes things too far.
To be fair to the BBC, the launch camera was poorly framed. It was also hidden by SpaceX/NASA's minimalist graphics at some points.
Watching BBC News via iPlayer, and Sky News and SpaceX via YouTube: Sky News YT behind SpaceX YT by approximately 30 seconds, which is their normal delay. BBC News another 10 seconds behind that.
