BBC News (UK) presentation - Reith launch onwards

Did anyone on this site hear the new remix for BBC News with Dua Lipa's voice mixed in with it?

Nope, definitely wasn't mentioned at all when it went viral last week.

The guy who made it, named Ben Howell, was interviewed on the NC & on BBC Radio 1 as well. You probably missed out on it then.



Here's the countdown theme that he remixed using the single 'Break My Heart' from Dua Lipa's album Hallucinate.



I only heard this remix within the last hour on Youtube. My god; it is an absolute gem to listen to. Ben Howell is a creative genius. This remix should be used to raise money, as a charity single, for vital healthcare equipment used for treating Covid-19 patients & for staff within the NHS. It will do some more good for these scary times going on in the UK. Does anyone else here agree with me?

There was like 4 pages of it, ending only 2 pages before the last post when bkman posted.

They are so sort of light content that the very slightest viral thing on social media will get blanket coverage, multiple times, on multiple outlets. Draining every last drop out of it.

Oh I know you mean about sarcasm .........but that interview with Simon McCoy with the remix built in right up until the end was absolutely brilliant though. It had built up a lot of tension right up to the end of the song when the countdown went into the BOTH.
