Is that shot of the exterior of BH live? Shouldn't the memorial to journalists who died on duty be shooting a column of light into the air at that time?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breathing_(memorial_sculpture)

If they could frame the shot to show that it might be a better sequence.

As I said up the page...

IIRC, when the move to Broadcasting House was first mooted, there was a suggestion that the Ten would begin with an exterior shot and show the art installation (a beacon) on the roof lit up.

So where will Newsnight come from?

Couldn't really tell where Newsnight came from. Another studio or the same bit of Studio B they used before the election?

Watching tonight I would love for the Ten to come from Studio B permanently. It looked absolutely fantastic. Would really make the bulletin so much more flagship and separate it from the rest. Newsnight could still use it afterwards. It worked in early 2008 when the Ten and Newsnight shared Studio TC7 for a while.

I disagree.

It looked empty and cold.

From what I saw, they were using 34D - their temporary election home again. I think.

With the awful news of this terror attack, what's World doing at the moment? It doesn't look like they're simulcasting with the News Channel at the moment.
