Well I wouldn't wait for it young Jez, HTV never have a tree. Mind you since they've turned into Welsh 'This Morning' they may well do.

Shall I wake you up when the christmas lights competition opens?

BBC Wales put their tree up very late indeed, so I insist the winner of this isn't announced too hastily.

One is tempted to enquire if there will be any serious contest this year.

If all the studios are identical and designed at the centre, isn't it reasonable to assume that the Christmas trees will follow the same pattern?

aah, but didn't calendar project a snowflake on the floor last year - the regions will have to innovate like that to win. and don't forget the beeb aren't nearly as generic as the other channel. i wont have you spoiling the festivities nick!

only when the regions come from a CSO at grays inn road sharing a computer generated christmas tree will i accept that this contest is pointless.

Doesn't the Central studio look much better with a tree? Also I noticed they have recoloured the wheel, with the building underneath aswell! Couldnt they record a new backdrop?
