Those overhead shots don't look so good in widescreen do they. Not only can you see the cable cover but the fake overlay bit on the right (well I think it is fake anyway) doesn't quite line up with the edge of the set like it used to.

It's overlaid to cover up the corner of the studio, and the cameras too I suppose. It didn't look so bad or obvious before things went widescreen.

Clare and Lisa were wondering who would be the fairy on top of the tree... day-glo shirts or orange babylons?


Look North Leeds' tree is indeed up although unfortunately I don't have the capabilities to capture an image.

ITV Tyne Tees has a tree on the weekend bulletin, but now its gone (in the South bulletin anyway!) and as I said before, Its RED!
