A second device has been found in the car at Park Lane.
(I heard that on BBC News 24 from Daniel Sandford at Scotland Yard.)

So, let's get this right...
Paramedics, dealing with something else entirely, noticed the first car, thought it was suspicious and reported it.
Westminster Council however (or whoever it may have been), ticketed a second car, then later decided to *tow it away* without noticing the apparently similar number of gas cannisters and nails that were in the first one, took if off the trailer and stowed it in a car pound directly underneath one of the *largest parks in Central London*, where it stayed for approximately *12 hours* before anyone reported it.
Fantastic.

I was quite surprised that ITV didn't interrupt the schedule for the press conference. Just the usual summary at 11.10.
Just a few weeks ago, This Morning was taken off air for a News Special about Blair's resignation.

To my knowledge - ITV News have done nothing outside of normal programming, unless they did something during 'This Morning'. Beggars belief.

It's ITV News. What do you expect?
This is something the old independent ITN would never have ignored. But now most of it's owned by ITV and the Daily Mail .

ITV should have had an update, but they dont need to extend anything. Apart from the news of a second device - nothing really happened, i mean it wasent rolling stuff so to speak.
