And if they postponed it ,they still would have had to film it at some point and people would have complained of the BBC bowing to terrorists and wasting money .
Either way people are going to complain but at least with what they did they can't be accused of wasting money

Probably not worth a new thread, but how stupid are the BBC to go ahead with a staged explosion in the centre of Cardiff yesterday (for Torchwood), which due to the current climate caused some concern amongst the locals.
The police may have been notified prior (perhaps they should have stepped in), but the BBC only informed people by putting a message on local radio an hour before - and there would be no chance of everyone in Cardiff hearing about it.
Once again it's the BBC behaving in such an obviously stupid manner and then apologising after the event.
