I think you're right, as Stephen called it Scotland Today then hastily corrected himself at the end. It was scheduled to be Scotland Today, so presumably replaced North Tonight for the former Grampian area, but SMG would argue it has gone beyond the call of duty over the last couple of days.

STV was far more interesting, and moved at a far faster pace. BBC Scotland made the error of relying too much on so-called 'experts', and went into more of the political side.
that side was very good for this afternoon show: at noon: it was able to speak to the leader: but this was just Zzzzzz

STV completely IGNORED the press conference that was going on at the same time of their broadcast! Surely they should have been there and taken some of it live or at least played some of it later in the programme. STV's reports were good, but BBC's live stuff was better. The reporter in Houston was excellent.

Probably not worth a new thread, but how stupid are the BBC to go ahead with a staged explosion in the centre of Cardiff yesterday (for Torchwood), which due to the current climate caused some concern amongst the locals.
The police may have been notified prior (perhaps they should have stepped in), but the BBC only informed people by putting a message on local radio an hour before - and there would be no chance of everyone in Cardiff hearing about it.
Once again it's the BBC behaving in such an obviously stupid manner and then apologising after the event.

Equally we shouldn't let the terrorists disrupt our normal life... in the current climate a balloon bursting would probably cause "concern" to some people. We need to continue with live as normally as we can to make sure these ******* don't beat us.
