Also...the BBC Scotland News Special from noon today is appearing in the Scotland Media Player online, but link not working.

STV has done a good job with this - it has limited resources over the weekend but continued to supply an update between programmes. As stated before, it's a big story but big enough to deserve a ripping up of schedules and rolling news.

The only criticism of STV I would have is their poor teatime update - cutting away for entertainments news when Scotland has been hit by its first terrorist attack was quite frankly nuts. But I suspect that was simply inexperience, and it was recovered well afterwards.

It will be a change to the schedule at 5.30, Stephen Jardine wil front an STV News Special live from Glasgow.

It was just the graphics - they squashed 'STV news special' into the space normally occupied by Scotland Today.
