CNN online have Suspect dead as breaking news on their website. Seems odd that neither Sky or BBC have announced this.

Well Louise said it was unconfirmed, but likley, so I'm sure the BBC would want to be careful.

Before our next programme we join Jane Hill for a news report...pretty standard.

The BBC are promoting this quite a lot on News 24 and on BBC 1 after the New Special. What if Gordon Brown has something more important to do on Sunday morning?

Fook me!!

CRITICAL SECURITY LEVEL

Quote:
The current threat level is assessed as CRITICAL (as of 30th June 2007).

This means that an attack is expected imminently and indicates an extremely high level of threat to the UK.

Also anybosy that works in a Armed Forces area, i.e Naval base, Barracks etc.. the threat leven will be increased there as well.

Better dig out the 'Preparing for emergencies' booklet we were all given!

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know who has the authority to take normal ITV1 off the air and run with breaking news? Does it go as far as Simon Shaps?

I assume they're on holiday Shocked

So Gordon, you wanted to be prime minister eh?

> Extremely damaging floods
> Defused car bombs
> Firebomb attack on Glasgow airport
> Troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan
> European constitution aftermath

And that's in FOUR DAYS

STV just had a news flash. Bit of a clumsy one, Louise cut off in her prime by a break bumper and advert as she was about to announce the time of the next news update.

Strangely Louise did far better on CNN.

Still better than anything the ITV network is doing. Continuity announced the next update would be at 10.30pm.
