Technically yes, but they're probably going on the same basis as us - there's being an attack at Glasgow so another is likely. Doesn't mean it will definitely happen though, unless they do have intelligence in which case you'd think they'll be able to catch the people planning it.

I wouldn't say raising the threat level to "critical" warrants a news report as it was to be expected to be honest.
And it was inevitable the threat level would increase this week anyway in the wake of Tony Blair's departure, plus major events such as the two Wembley concerts and Wimbledon, and of course the anniversary of the London Bombings.
I think though sometimes rather than reaching for the panic button you've got to look at the funny side of things - these have to be the worst bunch of suicide bombers in history!

Indeed, it doesn't actually mean anything to anyone. Security threat goes up and down and we all just get on with our lives as normal

Indeed....standing and throwing petrol on an already burning car whilst they're burning themselves....in fact one of the eyewitnesses called it "amateurish".
Copy cats inspired by yesterday?

It is clearly not Copycat behaviour. Cobra would not have met for a second time, and the PM wouldn't have made a statment if it were. Don't forget the PM and agencies know a lot more than we do, and so take from that what you will... but this is serious stuff. They must have intelligence now to suggest another attack is indeed imminent.
