Ahh - happy days...
You know, sporadically Sky Travel at the top of the hour (xx58-xx59.30) show live footage from various cameras around the world provided by Earth TV in Munich, and disributed via APTN. Strangely addictive viewing, but its not listed in the EPG, so you have to take a leap of faith at 3 mins to the hour and hope it's on.
ITV news could offer us 'World Live' fans a regular hourly fix, by putting this on (when Breaking news doesn't get in the way) before every hour, and incorporating an on screen countdown clock, upto the top of the hour.
..not that anyone will listen to this at Grays Inn Road.

Well behind the scenes all the wonderful and old idents still very much exist.
Except at the BBC where all traces of balloon have been totally wiped.
