Why not go to Bradford? When I was younger, I went there and if I recall, they have a news set and an autocue and you choose the stories you want to read.

yeah was still there in 2005 Laughing

It used to feature BBC Breakfast News etc from around 1989, They've refurbished the TV bit now so it's probably more up to date

You'll have to go out of season though if you wanted a proper go, as normally you get 4 kids at once sat in the booth and nobody actually paying attention

These days, the attraction at the National Media museum in Bradford features a little set-up with Huw doing a 2006-branded 10.

Also, when I happened upon North East Tonight, they had a piece about the "ITV News Bus", where people could pop along and read there. I also saw the same bus on the old ITV Central website so I presume it goes all over...

I once was got a tour of Grampian Television studios and Kennedy Thompson (Mr Grampian) gave me a shot of reading the late news that Monday evening (not on air though)!!!

Ah the good old days of Grampian - much better than this STV rubbish we get now! STV always has and continues to feel and look very cheap and tacky.

Could not agree with you more and now as a North of Scotland viewer I feel like an outsider tuning in on Glasgow's station - not nice!!

oh do be quiet about grampian. every other station in the country has been destoyed by carlton/granada, we're lucky enough to have an independant scotland, even if it does involve two stations acting as one.
