Disagree with your presenter comment; this would have been applicable for London Today bulletins.
London Today is better than the main 6pm show as it has some 'news' stories.
My argument is that Katie Derham presents the ITV Lunchtime news and Alistair presents on the ITV NC in the mornings, which gives the 6pm show no local identity at all.

Channel Report:
Presenters: 6/10 (Although the main presenters are very good, the sub-presenters and some reporters don't deserve to be on TV!)
Graphics: 8/10 (ITV Generic of course, but they do some good graphics packages)
Presentation of Stories: 5/10 (I've only put that because the stories are so boring!)
Weather: 6/10 (Presenting is good, but the graphics are nowhere near the other regions standards)
Set: 8/10 (Although the background looks like a cardboard cutout, it is a decent looking and well designed set)
Spotlight Channel Islands:
Presenters: 7/10 (About a year ago i'd of given this 1, but the presenter they have now is quite good)
Graphics: 2/10 (Unfortunately their graphics are awful, so much so that some of them go way off the safe area)
Presentation of Stories: 7/10 (Better than Channel it has to be said. They don't bother with mindless drivel, they just get the story across and then move on!)
Weather: 6/10 (Good graphics but just a caption over the newsreader talking)
Set: 7/10 (Although quite a small set, it's solid with good colours and is utilised well)

I like Scotland Today the Presenters are excellent .
Scotland Today spend to much time on sport though .
The most annoying pattern on Scotland Today in recent times is the way it constantly takes stories from the Grampian region.Sometimes a Grampian region story is the lead story on Scotland Today.
The next annoying story STV will be pinching from Grampian will be the G8 at Gleneagles. Which is in the Grampian region. I don't know why STV have to report on stories from North Scotland they seem to forget that they are a regional broadcaster and not national.

Saw Meridian Tonight for the first time last night, got to say, I think it's presentation and format was excellent. I'll definitely be watching out for them again, possibly the best region out there.
