A Suspect said to be in custody.
TV news channels going to breaking news mode and with the US Air-force connection I imagine they will be big coverage in the USA.

This isn't the first time you have created a separate thread for an story that didn't require it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think two minutes of coverage counts as 'breaking news mode'.

I guess it is now time to prepare for the new thread regarding the 'Amtrak Train Derailment incident'.

I fast forwarded through NBC Nightly News and the CBS Evening News and it appears that there was no mention of it. To determine this I relied on seeing OTS elements and eyeballing the video footage.

In order to find this article on NBC’s website I had to navigate to their World page and scroll down. However the article was posted at 10:34 ET and it’s 12 hours later so it could have ranked a bit higher.

I imagine if it wasn’t for the Amtrak crash and Trumps national security plan (which ate up most of the A block and pushed the commercials back until about 15 minutes into the program) there may have been a quick 30 second piece about it.
