Carol's got my vote because she's lovely to talk to, and a very nice person. Can't say I know Pam Royle.

As I say I saw a very steely looking 'Pip' (eurgh) Thomson coming up Northumberland St the other day and that immediately put me off her, with the massive scowl and all!

Was she a co-host on that, or a reporter?

A reporter but also regularly presented Central News at Six and the late bulletin.

It's little wonder she had a scowl on her face, did you expect her to be walking up Northumberland Street, middle of December, crowds of people, crap weather, and have a daft smile across her face? Rolling Eyes Laughing

Well with a 56% rating the 'Queen of North East Teatime News' for 2006 is awarded to Pam Royle.

It was interesting to see Carol Malia put up a strong performance however. Will Ms Thomson endear herself to the viewers during the coming 12 months to snatch the crown from her ITV Tyne Tees - South colleague?

All will be revealed at the end of 2007!!
