Kay Burley will be at the Trump tower I suspect if he wins.

Oh now, that can't be serious, that sounds like Murdoch bias to me.

Surely someone was sent to Clinton campaign HQ. In fact I expect all the networks to have one based at the campaign HQ and the rally sites.

Well... Jeremy Thompson is anchoring from the Times Square studio with Adam Boulton in DC & Kay Burley walking around Times Square with correspondents in key states like Ohio and Florida. I believe the way they are suggesting they are in New York is as it is where Trump lives/works and Clinton was politically associated (can't remember if it was mayor or senator or something)

Fox News is live on the Apple TV app for free in the UK.

720p.

Any other feeds apart from that for Fox?

Fox News is streaming live for free on the official site:

http://video.foxnews.com/v/1241186546001/?#sp=watch-live

On Apple TV you can also get:

Fox GO (business network)
CNN Go (will be free later on)
ABC News (Not currently streaming)
NBC News (will stream later for free)

I'd definitely recommend USTV Now. It's got these channels for free...

NBC (WGAL)
ABC (WHTM)
FOX (WPMT)
CBS (WHP)
PBS (WPSU)
CW (WHPCw)
My9 (WVHL)

The stream quality is actually quite decent as well.

RTE One is having their own coverage of the election tonight only from 11:25pm to 3:30am.

From 3:30am to 6am; they will show the remainder of the results & analysis via a simulcast from CBS News.

Morning Ireland will give an update of the results on RTE Radio 1 from 6am.

RTE One & RTE News Now will show a special news programme from 9am.

Will tonight's election coverage be simulcasted for RTE News Now coming from RTE One?

Is there anything stopping the likes of say Sky or Virgin adding feeds of NBC or CBS and the likes for the election? IIRC Virgin added TV3 on channel 996 for the Irish Election.

Across in France, market leading news channel BFMTV started their Election show at 2100 GMT presented from a rooftop in New York with reporters across the country and will be staying on-air through the night. French channels normally loop the 2300 CET bulletin overnight.

The main linear channels in France aren't covering the election, but TMC (owned by TF1 and the Monaco Government) have an special edition of topical show Quotidien through the night.

Franceinfo have an election show until midnight CET (basically the normal 2130-0000 format) then France 24 Français overnight.

LCI appear to be going off air at midnight as usual, although that may be an EPG error at my end.

Sky's US election intro really reminds me of Christmas ident.

Can't say I'm looking forwards to Vines green studio graphics.

If you use the Kodi add-on, it's in 720p HD.

I didn't mind them back in 2008; I can't recall what they did in 2012.

How come the results are announced during our overnight, just like ours are, despite the U.S. being 5-8 hours behind?

Nice of the Sky News guests to wait until the camera is off them before getting up and leaving.

They have 'early voting' up to 4 weeks before, and also have electronic or mechanised voting for many other areas (remember the 'hanging chads' of Florida?).

The counting is a lot quicker than in the UK for those reasons.
