This is probably a stupid question, but I have to ask. Do the news presenters on N24 appear in their own clothes or get them from the BBC? This morning the man (don't remember his name) appeared in a suit and shirt that looked exactly like those worn by Chris Eakin a few days ago. I have wondered about a couple of outfits worn by women presenters as well, though I admittedly don't pay as much attention to them.

No, I'd of thought that the presenters wear their own clothes.

That's what I've thought, but begin to wonder recently. Perhaps they all shop at the same place. Smile

Yeah - 'The News 24 Clothes Shop!'
I can remember a time when all Maxine Mawhinney wore was a blue jacket and thats the only reason why I think they would wear their own clothes. I may be wrong though.

That blue jacket has appeared on quite of few of the women. Curiouser and curiouser....

Hmmm. Also, saying that, Sian was wearing an outfit that looked very similar to Jane Hill's. It was the lemon jacket with white top.

Usually presenters will find their own clothes, but they will have an annual clothing allowance as they can't keep wearing the same thing...

I was watching Sky News when I got in this morning (about two) and the presenter then was wearing a rather fetching (though severe) purple jacket.

In fact, she was a rather good presenter, come to think of it.

Have you ever thought that perhaps you might be able to make more of your life than at present?

At most news channels presenters wear their own clothes (with or without the help of an annual clothing allowance), but there is also a wardrobe department from which they can borrow clothes if they need to - for example if they turn up wearing the same colour/colour that clashes horribly with a co-presenters outfit. Also presenters sometimes pass clothes on to each other if they get bored with them or indeed just borrow each others clothes......they just don't expect the public to be observant enough to notice!!!
