Presenter Rotations

With all the good discussion threads becoming tedious, I feel there should be a dedicated place for presentation rota changes, and the like.

We'll kick off with last night's pairing of Jane Hill and Louise Mincing on N24 last night. Feel free to discuss, I'm off to get another drink.

Previous rota threads got nowhere so does there need to be some other tactic? A sub forum for The Newsroom. Sub-topics for particular threads for only rota posts? Tagging a post as 'rota talk' and thereby toggling it off/on?

I like the idea of a tagged post that I can easily ignore.

Or a one button auto-reply which says,

You're boring. Quit boring everybody. When is the boringness going to stop? Will it be soon?

I'm fairly easy either way.

I think perhaps a separate forum for each channel in the newsroom - BBC News, ITV News, Sky News, International News, and have threads placed in there?

I agree with Gavin; we need some way of avoiding the dross.

Otherwise, what's the point of the "tvforumbeta" work?

I know this has nothing to go with presenter rotas or the argument going on here but will TVFBeta have a chatroom? It would seem like a good idea - especially when something major happens. A lot easier than fumbling around with posts and missing half of the conversation. Being able to discuss things in real-time would be very nice indeed. Just a thought!
