What annoys me is that Sky News also have time to fit in sports news and weather, yet we just get a few minutes of other news read by another presenter. Not just on this occasion but when other big stories happen.

At present, News Channel is carrying the same programme as BBC 2, though with Breaking News astons. World are carrying the same pictures, but with their own commentary. Strangely, they're currently on a pillarboxed, low-bitrate version of it, though.
The Six is on BBC 1, doing its own thing from Westminster.

I'm a bit confused... are the BBC simply late in announcing the times for the Hyde Park prayer vigil coverage tomorrow or are they not bothering with it? (From some very brief research it seems much of this stuff is being co-ordinated by the 'Catholic Communications Network' - anyone know if they've hired a production company?)

Carol Vorderman is co-hosting, apparently. Must be the biggest gig she's ever done.

Tomorrow's networked event is the Westminster Cathedral Mass and related AM events, the afternoon will be covered by the News Channel.

I can incidentally see some minor controversy on Sunday. The Beatification of Cardinal Newman is being shown live on BBC TWO, and because of the Great North Run, this means that the Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary Service at Westminster Abbey is having to be shown Delayed (by an Hour) on BBC ONE after the GNR. There are highlights later. Some will complain that the BoB service being attended by Charles, Camilla and William should take priority.

He must be bored off his head with all these masses.
