Interesting that while Newsnight get reports that the Last Rites are being read, ITV has an interview with a journalist who expects the Pope to live for months..... I think I know who I believe.......

Poor old Tony.

Not only has Charlie boy decided to get hitched right in the middle of him trying to call an election, but now he's going to have black and white smoke billowing away in the middle of his announcement.

That's not quite what the bloke ITV spoke to was saying though ... he said he had had recent meetings with Vatican staff who had seemed relatively unconcerned by the Pope's recent illnesses and had expected him to recover.

I think News 24 are ready, they've already got the black box underneath the clock with 'POPE'.

It's got to be it this time if he's been given the Last rites.

Well you have to be careful - one rumour easily swirls out of control in these situations.

I know, but I'm just getting annoyed each time the Media goes mad every time he goes into Hospital, and that "He's getting better"

But, as the media have been pointing out, and as I will now as a good Catholic boy ... it's not the last rites any more, it's the sacrement of the sick and can be administered many times.
