it was interesting that there was a period of black and aspect ratio switching at about 8.45 on GMTV, which i presumed was a rather botched "re-patch", in as much as LNN switching from taking GMTV to take GMTV running through the ITN gallery, to facilitate a nice smooth hand over from GMTV to ITN at 8.50, however, the hand-over at 8.50 included a brief period of black too.

Does anyone know if the source material is being done as a CTV/RAI joint production or are other broadcasters involved?

Why did BBC One have a News bulletin from 11.30 - 11.45? They don't usually have a mid-morning news? Why not wait until the One?

BBC News 24 - ticker and News24 logo in top left (NEWS 24 box has been removed)

News 24 had a ticker without the Tower? Did it have the 3D bit which usually pertrudes from the top of the masthead when it's there (usually briefly) without the Tower?

Ive only seen BBC One coverage in the office this morning. It was very well produced and well executed.
Out of interest, why was there a bulletin at 12? Was it really needed?

i presume it was to replace the news updates between daytime programmes that we usually get. i guessed it made sense at 11.30 - but did look a bit out of place when it was delayed until 12

It was presumably also to fill the 15 minutes before the 45-minute PAGE TURNERS.

I'm guessing most English regions will take the Network Ballet symbol into the One.
