World Business Today on CNNI last night was double headed from both London (Becky Anderson) and Rome (Jonathan Mann).

Camera cut back to London whilst Jono was mid-delivery, and Becky didn't know what to do, so she started voicing her script, and temporarily spoke over the top of Jono.

Camera then temporarily cut back to Jonathan Mann, who was jumping up and down and mid tantrum that he had been cut off. He looked mega angry, not realising that we were watching him, but hearing Becky.

Otherwise, CNN's coverage from the Vatican has been outstanding of late.

Can you take this petty argument off the public forum please? I'd hate to have to lock a thread about the Pope's death.

I have nothing to say about the Pope, except this: his refusal to change the church view on condom use has effectively left millions in Africa dead and dying.

And they want to call him "Great"?

Thats a sin, if ever I heard one.

The conclave is to be held on Monday week (18th April), and some ding-dong bells will accompany the white smoke signalling the election of a new Pope to avoid the 'Erm, it looks a bit greyish' confusion.

"This way even journalists will know," said the master of ceremonies, Archbishop Piero Marini.

Check the BBC1/ITV1 Schedule Thread and you'll find that ITV will be covering the Funeral from 8.50am until 10.30am, presented by Alastair Stewart.

Just been going around all the Pope funeral coverage and was surprised by the high quality from ALL stations.

The only thing worth commenting on is the presence of on -screen graphics during the funeral.

BBC1 - clean
ITV1 - clean
BBC News 24 - ticker and News24 logo in top left (NEWS 24 box has been removed)
ITV News Channel - ticker has been removed, slug has been removed leaving just small date and time and ITV News in the top right.
SKY¦News - ticker remains, even annoying animated VOTE 05 graphic in the bottom left remains, LIVE Vatican City is apparent along with SKY¦News logo in top left.

Both BBC and ITV have made an effort in reducing onscreen clutter whereas SKY have left nearly all their graphics and are still using the off-putting VOTE 05 and election grpahics next to the ticker in the bottom left.

Just watching BBC World now and the Animated Dog is replaced by one like this >> http://www.rp-networkservices.com/tvforum/uploads/dog.gif

And the rest of the screen is clean

SKY¦News have now lost their ticker and election graphics. I wonder if someone had looked at the other news channels and took the executive decision that there was infact too much screen clutter detracting from the strong images on the screen?
PS they still got a LIVE Vatican City slug in the top left corner!!!!
