I see BBC News 24 have got their sombre themes out with a rather loud and slightly bouncy bed pre-titles!

It's working out quite well.
Monday - Tone calls election.
Tuesday - Hospital appointment.
Wednesday - Pope's funeral.
Thursday - Day off.
Friday - Charlie's wedding.
Can't be bad!

Maybe some US forumers can help me here, but am I the only one in thinking that US News programmes (particually Fox) have been amazingly insenitive?
Fox claiming that they broke the story made me laugh. The last thing they broke, was well.....
The graphic for Fox for two ways was well, morose. BBC World was a scambels cutting and breaking at all points.
Saying that I have found News 24 and BBC News in general to be very professional. My only conplaint would stem from this continual verbal repeating of a peice of news. Radio 2's approach to the incident was excellent, just a simply one hour programme with the Pope's life story and some tributes.
On another point is Sky still using "POPE DEAD"? Again the person who wrote this appears to lack anything resembling an English qualification, surly a smaller case with "Pope Dies" would have been more in-keeping.
