BBC News 24 waited to 20.58 when Click Online ended to cut across, though had a breaking news strap just before. 21:00 official confirmation given.

Is it just me or is it appauling the BBC hasnt broken the news on BBC1 ? The same goes for ITV and Channel 4.

Well they will have to get Huw ready they won't just take N24 - Huw will most likely appear after Casualty, at 9.10 - but ITV had no excuses - there were ads at 9.

Rachel Ammat is on Sky, and she is coping well, good on 5 news, but shame on BBC and ITV, i would break in to the programme

They will probably break in with the news after Casualty finishes, rather than piss off people by cutting in during it.
