Speaking of respect James Malcolm Burns has no respect for religion or for us in this thread. We don't discuss television to be abused and insulted.

As for the above quote, it doesn't surprise me considering the fact that the whole situation is occuring in Rome. Did Poland do anything as a mark of respect baring in mind that the Pope is Polish?

You won't this forum alot then as it's one of the things people usually seem to pick up on and also your points about the pope and religion having nothing to do with news presentation is wrong, as this thread exisits to discuss just that.

Brutally honest but fair...

Is it not true that the situation is developing on television and this thread is discussing the current presentation of this and if the worst comes to the worst. Besides what's your comment got to do with television presentation?

I haven't - and neither have the majority of others grumbling at your comments.

You oughtn't to be uber-sensitive to opinion because its weak, it reads silly and is somewhat cringewothy.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion it's just that there's a place for it and this thread is definitely not the place for insulting religion.
What's 'uber-sensitive'? I can't say I've heard that one before.

Your problem is the lack of respect to people who believe in a religion, and your insensitivity is coming through this thread. Mad

Reading your insensitive replys is tiresome too.

'It is tiresome' does not refer to 'what is tiresome'. Are you indicating that yourself are tiresome or that people who constantly write pointless posts are tiresome?

It wasn't a reply it was an aside. The moaning's got more to do with how awfully intense others can be. Insensitive people are allowed opinons too! Don't be so dictatorial.

Look everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's the great thing about the net, but you have to look at the subject of the thread and the people who will be reading it, and based on that you ought to be more careful with what you write, because there will be people who will be likely to be offended when you make such comments, so you say it's a quip, but people will totally misintepret it as they will not thing that type of statement can be made into a joke, can you see the point I am trying to make.
