Is there a news special tonight on BBC One? I read somewhere that there was, but I can't remember if it was for tonight.

If the Pope does pass away, there is more than likely going to be an interuption of the usual schedule to show a news special, given the coverage that the story has received over the last few months.

There's nothing on the schedules on the bbc website, but I dare say events may change enough over the next few hours to change that. I am guessing that Huw might be in Rome for the Ten tonight
