I'm working in Westminster today. Just been past Westminster Cathedral. At least 4 sat trucks and 6 camera crews. ITN's Mark Webster was the only reporter I recognised.

The square outside is crawling with radio reporters doing vox pops.

If he hangs on too long there will be a run on black clothes for newsreaders... they can't keep wearing the same things into work for weeks on end in case he goes on their shift...
