They work him hard at BBC News don't they!

He was on Breakfast this morning, followed by Weekend 24, and now the news summary on BBC One.

He is highly watchable and credible though, and I wouild far prefer to watch Bill reading the news, than Dermot or Huw.

Definately, and in fact Bill's just said that Dermot will have the news later on.

He has something that very few male news anchors have, a sort of X factor. He and Simon McCoy are the best BBC News have.

I had left by DTT box on overnight, and had been left on News 24 (a lapse of judgement I know...) but when I woke up this morning the box had frozen on a picture of Bill and Sian - looked like a publicity shot.

It's a sign... Laughing

Out of interest, does anybody know what univeristy Bill studied at?

Bill is easily the best on BBC News as far as I'm concerned - he's got plenty of gravitas, yet has a friendly and accessible character. His journalistic credentials are clear and he seems able to turn his hand to anything he's asked to do.

One of the best broadcasters around IMHO.

If anyone else is getting this freezing problem on News 24, could you please have a look at this thread.
