Police Officer Shot Dead

ITV the first for once to break the news that a police officer has been shot in West Yorkshire. Very quickly followed by Sky and News 24.

Sky News and ITV seem to be more interested in someone called Roy Keane. Why I don't know - it's sport, not news.

Some coverage on news websites now. Now saying two officers were injured?

i think there is far to much sports news on our newschannels, CNN US, Fox News ect do fine without it.

That argument was fine until the first comma.

2 young female officers shot according to Sky now. One reported dead. Where would there be a Sky reporter based in the Bradford area? Leeds?

An incident at just after 3.30. Sky reporting that one of the female officers has died. Sky and BBC have dropped the Roy Keane story at long bloody last.

ITV doing a travel update!

Yeah, they had to go back to the old graphics for a bit (Big Ted?) but OK now. But what a time for them to break!

Sad news though.

I don't think they were the old graphics, it was just a smaller static version of the current ones.
