Looks like it is in Swiss font as well, i would imagine that they will be relaunching there astons in a couple of weeks and tweeking the titles. I know that every region will be getting new astons in the comming months, so that they are in line with the nationals look, ala Spotlight.
Midlands Today did exactly, well almost, the same thing a few months ago. MT now has, on its plamsa, BBC MIDLANDS TODAY running around in Gill Sans. Minus the BBC logo.
More tweaks this week to the set. All the red panels that were under the plasma's are now white (the tops ones changed from red to white when they changed the floor from black to wood a good year ago). However, the change of colour on the panels to white makes the white paint work around the plasmas look cream. The bottom white panels are also more visable now because the long white sofa has gone and has been replaced by a red chair and yet another new desk . Since the current look started they have had 3 desks and 3 seating arangements starting with the bar stools, then the sofa and now the chair - do they have money to burn!?
I'm not sure what has happenend to the the other seating area with the projection of Bristol harbourside on it as i have only seen the Breakfast and 10 o'clock news shows.

Well, just out of intrest does anyone know when the new astons are planned? Will it be before 2007? And, Today (30-10-2006) they have got new chairs, no sofa, red chairs, so that means that if they were to rebrand, then red would be in...again!
