Open ended coverage. BBC News Channel now simulcasting with BBC World. Tanya Beckett in the hot seat.

CNNI have taken Domestic since the latest suspicious package was found in Buffalo, and undoubtedly will stay with Domestic for the day.

ABC, CBS, NBC all rolling open-ended coverage in the US.

With a nice handover straight after the weather, replacing Dateline London.

Tanya wrapped at the bottom of the hour and stayed in shot with a prolonged pause and then welcomed “the news channel”.

The close that just happened now though was a bit messy.

Clearly she’s not briefed like those pressing in the News Channel when World joins NC.

Opened the 5pm with ‘This is BBC World News, I’m........

News Channel now broadcasting to World.

She may have kept referring to World News but I suppose at least she didn't welcome/reference News 24 viewers, as others have done in recent times!

Which is the standard overnight opener (and which I imagine first in Mike Embley's voice).

WGAL (NBC Affiliate) have broke away from the the Premier League and have got NBC News rolling coverage. Yet CBS are still showing their 'Paid Programming'.

NBC has had three special reports thus far, including during Premier League coverage.

The first was about an hour of rolling coverage that concluded before the West Ham game, the second was a (cringeworthy) impromptu presser with Trump on a runway, and the third, currently still happening, is a Pittsburgh government press conference.

KDKA, the CBS affiliate was on-air earlier as the incident occurred.
