Peston on Sunday to move to Wednesdays

I'm going to wait until the ITV showing, the PQ and sound out of sync are too much.

Not even working for me. I assume now it isn't live Allegra and Screenie are gone.

The live stream has a whole 300 viewers at the moment. Can’t see this gimmick lasting long.

The live stream is extremely out of sync. Audio is a good 15 seconds behind the visual. Very distracting and unwatchable.

It was around 550 at the start. Considering they only lost 250 viewers for a pisspoor stream is an acheivement in itself!

So it's basically just been Peston on Sunday.... but on a Wednesday.

The tunes there, screeny's there, 'wotcha's there... it's just the set has changed to deep dark blues and purples and even on screen it seems very reminiscent of Channel 5/5 News.

Allegra's not there which is a shame. Anushka seems a bit awkward to me.

Is there really any need in this new late night slot for a co-presenter who stands at the screen?

Very surprised that the show got an entirely new set, the old set with a night-time backdrop would have been just as effective. The lineup for yesterday’s show was pretty good, I’m guessing there are far better guests available at 8pm on Wednesday.

Surely the old set was designed for a daytime morning show, whereas the show is now a late night show? You probably want a different feel for the show as a result? The old set was very 'daytime'.

There may also have been reasons to get a new set linked to the move of the show from TLS to BBC Studioworks ? (Did the old Peston set share any set infrastructure with TLS ITV Daytime sets?)
