I thought STV hired a BBC studio rather then having their own non news studios these days?

Seeing that and the space that Andrew Marr's programme came from it does make me wonder why both of their main news programmes don't make use of that view.
The BBC project a similar view onto their set, seems a bit of a waste when they could just use a window

The Andrew Marr Show set today is actually a corner of the restaurant on the top floor, so quite noisy for a daily news program.

The Peston on Sunday set is, as Gary McEwan notes, is used for STV2 programming such as Live at Five and E... On STV.
So the @MarrShow roadshow continues. Hello #Glasgow ! Roll on the Portugal beach tomorrow pic.twitter.com/Ovdty9fzgS

Well yes obviously they'd not be able to use that exact space, but with all that water frontage you'd have thought they'd have thought to build a studio with windows

An idea that'll probably result in at least one person being fired. This Sunday watch the show live from the gallery @PeriscopeCo 👀 #Peston pic.twitter.com/qfmQHpT6g7
