Did On the Record also come from TVC?

Yes, it used to come from TC7 at one point.

Not sure there's any room at ITN at the moment, not without creating a new studio space somewhere.

I don't see any issue with Peston coming from TVC, politicians also make the jaunt down the A4 to Osterley for Sky's political show.

Is the BBC This Week programme with Andrew Neil made at Millbank? Is the Millbank studio large enough for Peston's show of they decided to move there?

I forgot to mention that Breakfast with Frost (the forerunner to Sunday AM / Andrew Marr) also came from TC7 for many years, with many high profile guests over the years.

ITN could be used if Peston decided to move into their main news studio and use the green screen background. He did it for the interview with the Prime Minister during the election.

ITN only provide a half-hearted bulletin at 9.25am on Sundays, so the studio would be free for Peston at 10.00am.

The Hospital Studios in Covent Garden would be a decent alternative. Close enough to BH.

The larger BBC studio at Millbank MB1 is home to The Daily Politics but Sunday Politics comes from BH Studio B. The set at Millbank is semi-permanent in nature though and I'm not sure there's the infrastructure (storage space etc) to strike and reset for Peston.

I was thinking of the ITV operation at Millbank, bit sure how big the studio they do the regional programmes from is.

I've just tried to find out some information on the ITV studio facility at Millbank, but there doesn't seem to be anything online. I suspect it's not any bigger than MB1 used by the BBC, and I'm not sure that would be adequate for Peston.

GMB and This Morning will share TC3 and be a fixed set at opposite sides of the studio.
Lorraine / Loose Women and Peston will share TC2 with a strike and reset policy as they do now at Southbank.

And actually politicians not hopping from the BBC to ITV would be to the shows advantage. I think even if it's a lesser guest it's better to have someone different than just interview someone Marr has interviewed an hour earlier.
