Is there anywhere with a nice view in Birmingham.
Any ideas where the programme is being broadcast from tomorrow in Birmingham? Sadly it's not the Gas Street reception.

Here here! I am struggling to work it out too... He told us last week when it was obvious and this week no mention.
Birmingham has some lovely views!
I imagine it's being broadcast from somewhere near Gas Street but it's been difficult to work out where from what they've posted on Twitter and facebook so far

So I live quite close to the canals and the show was broadcast in Austin Court (normally a wedding and conference space), which is a building adjoining The Malt House pub (the pub made famous by Bill Clinton making an appearance there in 1998).
The view is of the canal and the towpaths which adjoin the Barclaycard Arena (formerly the National Indoor Arena).
I did walk past the window a few times during the broadcast, I don't think I got into view however!

That's the one! I was looking at the Malt House for ages trying to work out if it was there as the windows looked very familiar and the preview was filmed on Tindall Bridge.
I would have worked it out easily if I'd been able to watch the programme. Makes sense as it's not far from the conference itself.
I live pretty close also, by Saturday Bridge, and could have easily done the same if I weren't abroad.

Some ratings info in an article on Media Guardian today reveals the repeat after the 10pm news gets more than twice as many viewers as the 10am live airing - with around 300k at 10am and 700k in the evening. However the morning figures, and indeed the combined figures, are still a long way behind the 1.7m who watch Marr.

Still a very long way to go for Peston but they probably couldn't have launched it at a better time given the political events of the last year.

He's also on the panel during next week's QuestionTime from Peterborough.
Piers Morgan is a guest on this week's edition.

A few minor changes to the set for the first show of 2017. For whatever reason, the shelving in the corner with the books and things has disappeared and has been replaced by some corrugated plastic screens. The table has been moved right over, and there are some very tight camera shots, so the set appears to be smaller than before.
